40 Series Heavy-Duty Torque Converter Kit
The 40 Series Torque Converter is a heavy-duty automatic CVT transmission system designed for larger go-karts, buggies, ATVs and utility vehicles.
Unlike a conventional centrifugal clutch, the torque converter automatically adjusts its drive ratio according to engine speed and vehicle load. This provides stronger low-speed pulling power, smoother acceleration and more efficient power delivery across the operating range.
It is suitable for compatible 8HP–16HP four-stroke engines fitted with a 1-inch straight crankshaft and ¼-inch keyway.

Important Compatibility Information
Please check your engine shaft diameter, keyway size, driven-shaft diameter, pulley alignment and required belt length before ordering.
This is not a direct replacement for every go-kart or buggy. Some applications may require fabrication, spacers, a mounting plate or modification to the existing jackshaft arrangement.
Professional installation is recommended. Incorrect pulley alignment or use of the wrong belt length can cause premature belt and clutch failure.
